PS Plus Losing Over 20 Games in May, Including GTA 5 and Infamous Second Son

Ps plus PlayStation Plus subscribers will soon say goodbye to a selection of games from both the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog, as Sony has confirmed a wave of departures in May. Among the notable exits are blockbuster titles like Grand Theft Auto 5Ghostrunner, and Infamous Second Son, along with several first-party PS3-era classics.

Upcoming PS Plus Departures

More than 20 games will be removed from PS Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe tiers next month, coinciding with the arrival of new additions. As highlighted by VGC, Sony has listed the departing titles in the “Last Chance to Play” section on the PS5’s PS Plus app. The list includes fan-favorites like Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 from Insomniac Games, as well as Sucker Punch’s Infamous Second Son.

Major Third-Party and VR Titles Also Leaving

In addition to first-party exclusives, several high-profile third-party games are being rotated out, such as:

  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Ghostrunner
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • MotoGP 24

PS VR2 owners will also lose access to multiple Premium/Deluxe-tier VR games, including:

  • Walkabout Mini Golf
  • The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (and its sequel)
  • Synth Riders
  • Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord

New Additions Coming Soon

Earlier in April, Sony introduced fresh titles to the Game Catalog, including Hogwarts Legacy and day-one releases like Blue Prince and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2. The PS Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe members can still explore these new additions while bidding farewell to the departing games

Earlier this month, Sony announced the games joining PS Plus Game Catalog in April. This month’s lineup is led by Hogwarts Legacy, the action-adventure title from Warner Bros. Games. Two new games launched day one on the service in April, as well. These include roguelike puzzle title Blue Prince and narrative adventure Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2. The Game Catalog is accessible to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members.
